About

The purpose of the North College Park Community Association (NCPCA) is to stimulate interest in and devise ways and means to promote civic, community and general welfare, with particular focus on the North College Park, Maryland area. NCPCA is strictly non-partisan, non-political, and non-sectarian.

Typical agenda items are: presentations by developers; dialogue with City officials on budget, city services, city policies, and proposed ordinances; support of or opposition to City, County, or State legislation that affect our neighborhoods; neighborhood improvement efforts, such as parks and roads; and other items as brought forward by our members.

The North College Park area is the area north of Greenbelt Road and east of Paint Branch Creek, within the boundaries of the City of College Park. This includes the neighborhoods of Sunnyside, Hollywood, Daniels Park, Autoville, Cherry Hill and Branchville.

We meet the second Thursday of each month (optional for July and August) at 7:30PM at Davis Hall [the City’s Public Works facility], 9217 51st Ave. During emergencies, like the Covid pandemic, meetings may be held Virtually [via Zoom] or Hybrid [virtually via Zoom along with in-person (place to be announced)] and the meeting start time may change. Zoom information for participating in each virtual or hybrid meeting is provided via email shortly before each meeting.
